BREEDING

The 2002 breeding season was our most successful. We settled all the mares but one on first time conception. All the mares were also settled on first time conception with cooled semen. At Black Rose we pride ourselves on keeping the mares in good condition and with the help of our Breeding Manager Nina Slothower and Veterinarian Dr. Greg Farrand, settling them as quickly as possible.

Slik's foals are nominated to: Kansas Breeders Futurity, Rocky Mountain Statllion Statkes & Sandhills, Reined Cowhorse Statllion Statkes. Six of Slik's seven performers have been finalists.

• Booking Fee $200.00
• Breeding Fee $800.00
• Mare Care is $7.50 per day wet or dry.
• Special consideration given to multiple mares or proven mares.
